Sliding Doors: LCO 2021 Split 2, Week 4

Welcome back to Sliding Doors for the Door Dash LCO Split 2!

Each week we run through the League of Legends Circuit Oceania teams with sometimes spicy, sometimes nice if/then takes, and, every now and then, an additional bonus one around a special topic.

You might be familiar with this concept if you’re an AFL fan, which is where we got the idea. So without further ado, here are your sliding doors for LCO Split 2, Week 4!

You’re confused as to why Chiefs are on top of the LCO table,

Don’t be. This team has earned it through hard work and strong performances across all three lanes. Once a playoff threat, now a true title contender.

Form is temporary but class is permanent,

Can somebody please explain what’s going on with Claire and Shok?

You’re looking for great value,

Safa’s stocks are going up, unlike a slab of Gravitas Glory, which is on the rocks.

You were silly enough to talk down this team last week (like this loser),

They’ve made you eat humble pie with a win over Peace.

You’re still searching for your first win of the season,

Blowing away a certain win against Peace can’t be good for the mental. At least Legacy is around the corner again.

You’re friends with any Order fans,

Try to avoid them if they win, they’ll be insufferable if results go their way this week. Trust me, I know.

You recruit a Worlds-standard jungler to round out your roster, but go on to lose against almost all the bottom teams,

The entire organisation needs a review. It’s completely unacceptable. The team might be ‘king of drafts’ but they’re playing like boosted animals.

We learned anything from last week,

The Chiefs are your biggest threat to back-to-back championships.

If you’d like to join us for LCO watch parties, join the Snowball Discord.

That’s all we have for this week! Check back every Tuesday for more Sliding Doors!

The League of Legends Circuit Oceania returns today.
