CS:GO Round-Up #008 – It’s Coming Cologne

Recorded on July 16, 2021.

Round-Up focuses on all things CS:GO in the Oceanic region. From our grassroots domestic scene, to the teams and players who represent us internationally, Round-Up will bring you up to speed with all you need to know.

Episode 8 brings a recap on how our Aussie representatives performed at IEM Cologne 2021. Renegades, Mousesports and Complexity each had very different journeys throughout CS:GO’s first international LAN in over a year.

Domestically, ESEA Premier S37 wrapped up with Renegades both the title and the ESL Pro League Play-In slot over ORDER, while Vertex blew the region away with a lower bracket run into the S37 finals.

Dire Wolves and Renegades made small tweaks to their rosters with a player change and coach addition respectively, while ‘BBBMBCBS’ were acquired by the New Zealand Warriors Esports Club.

All this and more is brought to your eyes and ears by Shhleebo and 2sbs.

Ash 'Shhlee' Whyte is all about Counter-Strike and its stories. While he did look at playing League of Legends at some point, he soon opted to specailise in CS after being told Shyvana top was apparently not 'viable' and that Bronze was not a 'good' rank.
