Oceanic TFT Reckoning Series kicks off on May 22 in four-month marathon to Worlds

One Oceanic TFT star will qualify for the Reckoning World Championship in China later in 2021.

The Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Reckoning Series Oceania, operated by Order, is set to start on May 22 with the first of four Open Qualifiers. It all leads to one hopeful getting a spot at the World Championship in China later this year.

After a wildly successful Oceanic run throughout Fates, TFT esports is primed to kick off again on May 22 with the start of the Oceanic TFT Reckoning Series.

The event, which is being hosted by Order, will take place across most of the newly-released Set 5, with some competition after the Mid-Set update penned for July 2021.

It all starts with the first Open Qualifier on May 22, with hundreds signing up for a taste of victory and a slice of $650 — a small share of the full $13,500 pie on offer throughout the whole series.

The top 64 performing players across multiple Open Qualifiers and ladder performances will take part in the Mid-Set Invitational, planned for mid-July.

32 will be invited from four Open Qualifiers taking place from May 22 to July 4. The other half will qualify through ladder snapshots on the Set 5 leaderboard, which started on May 12.

16 players will then earn the right to play in the two day Oceanic Regional Finals in September, with one spot at Worlds — set to be held live for the first time in China — on the line.
