Sliding Doors: LCO 2021 Split 2, Week 8

Every league needs its villain, and the LCO delivered that this week.

Welcome back to Sliding Doors for the Door Dash LCO Split 2!

Each week we run through the League of Legends Circuit Oceania teams with sometimes spicy, sometimes nice if/then takes, and, every now and then, an additional bonus one around a special topic.

You might be familiar with this concept if you’re an AFL fan, which is where we got the idea. So without further ado, here are your sliding doors for LCO Split 2, Week 8!

The LCO needed a villain,

Swathe has certainly earned that title, and lost a lot of admiration in the process.

The Dire Wolves are hoping to make a late push in finals,

Only is looking like the key to unlock this team.

You thought Gravitas was Safa and 4 wards,

it turns out they’re actually Kyose and 4 wards.

One team is showing it has depth with their extra players,

the jungle stocks at Legacy are through the roof with Whynot putting on a clinic against the Chiefs.

There’s one team I feel sorry for,

it’s Mammoth. Getting disrespected and bullied on the rift is not okay. Only this weekly release gets to make fun of Mammoth.

Order get a win this week,

even the Sydney-siders in lockdown will be able to hear them carry on from Victoria.

The saying “too little, too late” applies to anyone,

I think the time has run out for Peace. They have a big mountain to climb. Titles aren’t won in Week 5, but they can be lost.

There’s one thing I dislike about Pentanet,

it’s the fact they feel like they’re so far ahead that the rest of the season is just a formality.

That’s all we have for this week! Check back every Tuesday for more Sliding Doors!
