Sliding Doors: LCO 2022 Split 1, Week 4

Wray's back nursing a rough head after the smackdown he received last week.

Welcome back to Sliding Doors for the Door Dash LCO 2022 season!

Each week we run through the League of Legends Circuit Oceania teams with sometimes spicy, sometimes nice if/then takes, and, every now and then, an additional bonus one around a special topic.

You might be familiar with this concept if you’re an AFL fan, which is where we got the idea. So without further ado, here are your sliding doors for the LCO Split 1, Week 4!

You thought the Chiefs were unbeatable (I did, honestly),

last week was a reality check. They’ve still got plenty of time to iron out some of their mistakes.

Dire Wolves are the “best of the rest”,

they need to have a big Super Week to make up lost ground. What even makes up the rest though? Is Mammoth no longer in “the rest”? Jeez, what a split.

You were blasting Gravitas Glory on Monday night,

you quickly turned it off Tuesday and you’ll probably be waiting until Week 5 for it to be playing again. At least the faithful got to hear it once this split.

There’s one move that Kanga has to make to save their season,

please find a Leemas replacement. He has not adjusted well to the LCO and genuinely looks lost. With that being said, Styled is now on the GCD…

Mammoth are the real deal for a playoffs spot,

this Super Week is the perfect chance to prove it. ORDER, PEACE, and Chiefs is a hard run, but even a single win increases their chances significantly.

Roses are red and violets are blue,

we’ll continue the rhyme with ORDER going fourth in LCO 2022. Poetic, really.

There is one player to really highlight on this PEACE roster,

Beats deserves all the praise he can get. It feels so long ago that he was a mid laner, and he has truly found his place as one of the LCO’s best supports.

Pentanet look a little sluggish in their Super Week blockbuster against PEACE,

we’ll blame it to bad practice into the lead up (Kanga and Gravitas).

That’s all we have for this week! Check back next week for more Sliding Doors content.
